synthetic herbicides

Today I researched synthetic herbicides. The difference between herbicides and pesticides is that pesticides kill pests and herbicides kill plants. The two well known herbicides are ddt and agent orange. Just by the mention of agent orange it is obvious that herbicides have an effect on the human body. There are many different types of herbicides and not all are dangerous. It is difficult for some to decide on wether or not to use herbicides, because they may be dangerous, but they can be very beneficial for the health of the plants. Although this wasn't as interesting as my research yesterday but I found this somewhat interesting.
