Yesterday we had a field trip that took up the majority of the day. We went to the Museum of Man and we focused on two main exhibits. Those exhibits did not apply to any of our projects but the field trip was pretty fun.
When we got back Coco, Julia, Kayley and I stayed in Spencer's class until 4:30 to work on various projects. We worked on our independence presentation mainly. There is a lot of research required for that and it took a while. I continued to work on that later that night and finished half of the presentation. I found it somewhat easy to find information on some of the topics I was focusing on. Others were not as easy though.
I looked up important people that influenced the Chilean Information. One of the "heroes" of the revolution was extremley hard to find info on. Apparently there is a terrorist group named after him, so it was almost impossible to find a bio on him that wasn't in Spanish. I did find info and I am very pleased with the progress I mad yesterday.
When we were at the field trip we were shown how to test different things in water. It was especially informative to our group because we tested the pH of the water. I did find info on how they test pH when I was researching but it was extremley helpful to actually see the testing. The water testing field trip will also be very helpful to our project.
I did a little more research on pH last night also.
BASICALLY THE INDEPENDENCE PRESENTATION TAKES FOREVER.
